Southport Adventures!

What a fun-packed day!

We had such a great time on our trip to Southport. We started by demonstrating our superb climbing and balancing skills at the park. Then we went for a gentle stroll along the pier. It was such a clear day that we could see the  Lennox platform (an oil/gas rig) and the wind turbines, both features of topics that we have been learning about back at school.  We could even see the Blackpool Tower! We also discovered that the pier is the second longest pier in the Britain, although compared to LLandudno there were not as many attractions along the way.  Our last stop was the beach. Here we had lots of fun building sandcastles, playing football and most importantly, eating a delicious ice-cream.

Well done for an amazing day Year 1!
